OneDrive Access Denied

Trying to access OneDrive on the web and receiving a blank page with "401 Access Denied" error? Clear your browser cookies to resolve this.

Instructions - Google Chrome

  1. Click the three dots at the top right of Chrome
  2. In the menu that appears, click Settings
  3. In the new Chrome Settings window, click "Privacy and Security" in the left menu
  4. Click "Clear browsing data" in the middle of the screen
  5. Change "Time range" to Last 7 Days. Deselect Browsing history and Cached images and files, ensuring that Cookies and site data is ticked
  6. Click "Clear data"
  7. Close and reopen Chrome
  8. Access to OneDrive should now be restored

Instructions - Microsoft Edge

  1. ​​​​Click the three dots at the top right of Chrome
  2. In the menu that appears, click Settings
  3. In the new Settings window, click "Privacy, search, and services" in the left menu
  4. Under the "Clear browsing data" header in the middle of the screen, click "Choose what to clear"
  5. Change time range to Last 7 days. Deselect Browsing historyDownload history, and Cached images and files. Ensure only Cookies and other site data is ticked
  6. Press "Clear now" button
  7. Close and reopen Edge
  8. Access to OneDrive should now be restored
